《化學(xué)工程評(píng)論》致力于就化學(xué)工程各個(gè)領(lǐng)域的最新進(jìn)展，提出專(zhuān)家們撰寫(xiě)的簡(jiǎn)短而集中的評(píng)論文章。只會(huì)發(fā)表受邀的評(píng)論文章。目前《化學(xué)工程評(píng)論》中每一篇評(píng)論文章的目標(biāo)是：1、使讀者/研究者熟悉給定主題中最重要的近期論文。2、向讀者提供專(zhuān)家對(duì)每個(gè)主題的看法/意見(jiàn)。這些評(píng)論很簡(jiǎn)短（大約2500字或5-10頁(yè)帶數(shù)字的印刷頁(yè)），是研究人員、教師、專(zhuān)業(yè)人士和學(xué)生的寶貴信息來(lái)源。審查還旨在促進(jìn)專(zhuān)家之間的思想交流。主題部分：每次審查都將集中在以下化學(xué)工程主題部分之一的特定方面：1、納米技術(shù)；2、能源與環(huán)境工程；3、生物技術(shù)與生物工藝工程；4、生物工程（包括組織工程、再生醫(yī)學(xué)、藥物輸送）；5、分離工程（包括膜技術(shù)、吸附劑、脫鹽、蒸餾等）；6、材料工程（包括生物材料，無(wú)機(jī)材料，尤其是陶瓷材料，納米結(jié)構(gòu)材料）；7、過(guò)程系統(tǒng)工程；8、反應(yīng)工程與催化。選擇要審閱的主題：每個(gè)主題部分的章節(jié)編輯是該領(lǐng)域的權(quán)威，由期刊編輯選擇。他們將本節(jié)分為若干主題，以確保該領(lǐng)域得到全面覆蓋，并強(qiáng)調(diào)所有當(dāng)前重要的問(wèn)題。部門(mén)編輯委員會(huì)對(duì)他們選擇的每個(gè)主題進(jìn)行審查。該期刊的每一期都將集中在兩個(gè)主題部分。該期刊每年將有四期，涵蓋每個(gè)主題部分，每年一期。評(píng)論：作者寫(xiě)了簡(jiǎn)短的評(píng)論文章，介紹了他們學(xué)科的最新進(jìn)展，強(qiáng)調(diào)了他們認(rèn)為最重要的方面。此外，他們還對(duì)他們認(rèn)為在過(guò)去三到四年中發(fā)表在其主題中最有趣的論文提供了簡(jiǎn)短的注釋。審稿稿由稿件編輯、編輯委員會(huì)成員和編輯進(jìn)行內(nèi)部審稿。編輯概述：節(jié)編輯在節(jié)的開(kāi)頭寫(xiě)一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)短的概述，介紹評(píng)論并吸引讀者注意任何特別有趣的發(fā)展。

Current Opinion in Chemical Engineering is devoted to bringing forth short and focused review articles written by experts on current advances in different areas of chemical engineering. Only invited review articles will be published.The goals of each review article in Current Opinion in Chemical Engineering are:1. To acquaint the reader/researcher with the most important recent papers in the given topic.2. To provide the reader with the views/opinions of the expert in each topic.The reviews are short (about 2500 words or 5-10 printed pages with figures) and serve as an invaluable source of information for researchers, teachers, professionals and students. The reviews also aim to stimulate exchange of ideas among experts.Themed sections:Each review will focus on particular aspects of one of the following themed sections of chemical engineering:1. Nanotechnology2. Energy and environmental engineering3. Biotechnology and bioprocess engineering4. Biological engineering (covering tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, drug delivery)5. Separation engineering (covering membrane technologies, adsorbents, desalination, distillation etc.)6. Materials engineering (covering biomaterials, inorganic especially ceramic materials, nanostructured materials).7. Process systems engineering8. Reaction engineering and catalysis.Selection of the topics to be reviewed:Section Editors of each themed section are authorities in the field and are selected by the Editors of the journal. They divide their section into a number of topics ensuring that the field is comprehensively covered and that all issues of current importance are emphasized. Section Editors commission reviews from authorities on each topic that they have selected. Each issue of the journal will focus on two themed sections. There will be four issues of the journal per year covering each themed section once per year.Reviews:Authors write short review articles in which they present most recent developments in their subject, emphasizing the aspects that, in their opinion, are most important. In addition, they provide short annotations to the papers that they consider to be most interesting from all those published in their topic over the previous three to four years. The review articles undergo internal review by the Section Editors, Editorial Board members and the Editors.Editorial Overview:Section Editors write a short overview at the beginning of the section to introduce the reviews and to draw the reader's attention to any particularly interesting developments.
